An 8-minute ferry ride from downtown, the Flats at Yerba Buena Island are the newest collection of homes to hit the market in the megadevelopment, which began phase one sales in 2022.

The island’s condo building the Bristol along with the Row Homes, the development’s second community, are over 50% sold.

This year, more than 1,000 new homes will open or will be under construction between Yerba Buena Island and Treasure Island, a sustainable neighborhood for more than 18,000 residents in the middle of San Francisco Bay.

The Flats comprise single-level LEED Silver-certified homes spread across two luxury boutique buildings on the highest residential point on the island.

“The Flats are a classic, modern interpretation of San Francisco’s grand, historic homes combined with the latest innovations in hospitality and technology,” said Tim Slattery, a partner at the architectural firm Hart Howerton in a statement.

He noted that when the island neighborhood is complete, “it will feel like a seaside European village overlooking a panoramic view of the entire bay.”

Sales of Flats units are launching in March.

The Clipper Cove beachfront provides opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking and swimming. Other amenities include an open-air lobby, a rooftop terrace and a fitness center. The Flats have private parking garages, three- to four-bedroom floor plans and are equipped with solar panels.
